Club Bonito is a beautiful "Santa-Fe" style family owned beach hotel which offers a Caribbean escape to a novel like setting on a secluded, panoramic bay on the undiscovered Samana Peninsula.

The proprietors have combined their experiences in North America, Europe, Africa and Japan to create an international ambiance of hospitality, elegance and dedication to service. We provide our guests with privacy as well as many readily available social activities.

Club Bonito is located right on the beach in Las Galeras - a small fishing village cloistered on the Rincon Bay, ranked as having one of the top 10 beaches, and without question one of the best panoramic views in the Caribbean.

The Bay has magnificent scenery with blue waters, sequestered white sandy beaches and reefs; rimmed by cliffs and palm covered hills. With only four small hotels on the Bay, it is unquestionably the unspoiled Caribbean at its best. Our beautiful scenery is one of the main attractions. The impressive Rincon Bay coast line with its beaches, mountains, cliffs and caves was filmed for the spectacular scenes in the James Bond movie "The Goldeneye". The mountains are very scenic and beautiful with well conserved tropical rain forest, waterfalls and large cattle ranches in the many valleys.

Club Bonito is for those who do not want a crowded and commercial tourist resort but rather for those who want to getaway and enjoy a comfortable and relaxing vacation in the Caribbean.

The Club has 14 large deluxe rooms, elegantly decorated, each with two double beds, ceiling fans, air conditioning and 8 rooms have a balcony and a spectacular ocean view. We have future plans for expansion of the number of rooms to accommodate the increasing number of returning clients. The rooms are oceanview with a balcony and have a spectacular view of the Bay.

We have facilities and organize all that is needed for small conferences and other business and social group activities and meeting accommodating 30-40 people. We offer the right mixture of privacy and seclusion and access to social relaxation in a beautiful setting.

Two restaurants and pizza service at the Bar; provide dishes which include grills, salads and meals a la carte; genuine Italian pizzas; and a gourmet cuisine (which is the talk of Samana Peninsula) specializing in Italian food. For variety we have weekend pig barbecues during high season.

Through the Club, excursions are organized to several splendid secluded beaches by boat, horseback, and on foot.

The hotel organizes picnics in a "Robinson Crusoe" like setting on magnificant hidden beaches.

You can jog, stroll, or horseback ride along several kilometers of magnificent, tropical, palm covered coastline. It is a runner and stroller's paradise. Exercise classes can also be organized. Bicycles are also available to the guests.

Recreation also includes swimming (very safe for children) right in front of the club, and scuba diving, and snorkeling are all within 15 to 30 minutes by boat.

Fishing is available from small commercial boats and also with local fisherman but guests who are serious about fishing should bring their own tackle.
