Hi, I travel a lot myself, and it is truely important to feel comfortable. This is my attempt to describe accurately to you, what you can expect when you stay at our "homes away from home". We have continued with each of our visits, to endeavor to make our homes more special. It's a place we love and love sharing with you. Gayle Smith. 
Kitchen: The kitchen is a full one with dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave, full size refrigerator, lots of plates, cookware, glasses and extras. All cabinets are white, and the second floor has seashells for decos in the tile countertop. Yes, for the extra neat, there is an iron for clothes. Guest bath: White tub and shower of white tile. Tile floor in 2nd, teak in 4th. Dining and living room: View is to the ocean, sofa is rattan with an occasional chair also. There is stereo, color cable TV, and a library of books; people take one and leave a different one to read. The dining room in the 2nd floor is bamboo, while the 4th is rattan; both have 4 chairs covered in a tropical cloth and a glass table top. Floor to ceiling glass sliding doors to the lanai---as well as a window to the ocean. The floor in the 2nd floor unit has new white tile with an artist having painted the endangered sea turtle on some tiles; the 4th floor has new off white berber carpet with a teak entrance. Off the dining area is a washer/dryer. 
Master bedroom: Another set of floor to ceiling glass sliding doors to the ocean and a side window as well. The second floor has a bamboo 4 poster bed from Bali (queen size); and 4th floor has a regular king size bed. Two night stands as well as a chest for clothing stoage are in both, as well as lamps for reading. Off white carpet in both, and a bank of sliding doors offers privacy from the living room (4th floor has mirrors on the doors, while 2nd are plain wood). Fan overhead in case the ocean breeze is calm (rare).
Master bath: All white cabinets and mirrors; white tub and tile shower in both.
Second bedroom: Two twin beds, color cable TV in room, fan overhead, dresser, lamps for reading, and off white carpet.
Lanai: 200 square feet across the ocean---lani furniture is four padded swivel chairs, glass table and lounge. 2nd floor lanai is peach tile, 4th is astroturf. SUNSETS ARE GUARANTEED! If you have any questions this web site does not answer, just email or call me ANYTIME!
Your vacation at beautiful Kona Bali Kai is at ocean's edge. All units of the main building face the blue Paciffic, the rolling surf and the distant horizon. Other buildings in the complex are designed for the panoramic view of Mt. Hualalai rising 8,300 feet or lush gardens. Kick off your shoes at the door and sink into soft shag wall-to-wall carpeting. Each unit has a lanai, color TV, all-electric kitchen complete with range/oven, refrigerator and disposer. There's a washer/dryer and dishwasher in all units of the main building. Central washer/dryer facilities serve the other buildings in the complex. Kona Bali Kai is everything you'd like for complete enjoyment. It's golf on a choice of wind-free championship courses a short drive away, deep-sea fishing in waters that abound with giant blue marlin and yellow fin, snorkeling and scuba diving, tennis, hiking or horseback riding, hunting wild boar or goat. It is also a tranquil afternoon exploring the watery mysteries of tide pools in the lava rock, an afternoon history lesson at the visits to the local shops or all day adventures around the island. Everything is handy - modern shopping centers, supermarkets, and restaurants to suit the most discriminating gourmet. There is even a Londondouble-deck service to the Kailua area!
